Fleetwood Mac confirm 2015 UK & Ireland headline tour
Band affirm that they won’t be appearing at Glastonbury 2015.
Heavily rumoured for next year’s Glastonbury - despite recently claiming that they won’t be playing in 2015 - Fleetwood Mac have confirmed dates for a UK & Ireland headline tour.
Beginning in May 2015 with a Glastonbury-shaped hole in their schedule, shows include two appearances at London’s O2 Arena.
Tickets are due to go on sale this Friday, 14th November at 9am.
Last week, speaking to Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2, the band claimed they wouldn’t be headlining next year’s Glastonbury.
“One of the things that I’d like to clear up is that we’re not playing Glastonbury,” said Mick Fleetwood. “A lot of folks think that we are, so loud and clear: We love Glastonbury and all the surrounding history of such a lovely festival but we’re not playing it.”
Asked if the band would ever play the festival, Fleetwood said: “Never say never.”
Foo Fighters have emerged as favourites to headline Worthy Farm next year.
