Florence + The Machine is releasing a new book
‘Useless Magic’ will be out next July.

Florence + The Machine was also recently announced for next year’s Melt Festival in Germany, potentially heralding a return to music for Florence Welch.
Before we get a glimpse of any potential new songs on the horizon though, Florence has announced that she’ll be releasing a new book next year. ‘Useless Magic’ will be out on 5th July 2018 on Fig Tree, a Penguin imprint, and will be a full colour hardback. It’s set to feature her lyrics and poetry, as well as art derived from her own sketchbooks.
Juliet Annan said: “I have long wanted to persuade Florence to write a book, and this will be a beautiful record of her songs, a glimpse of the ideas that have inspired them, and a first look at her poetry.” Meanwhile, Florence said: “I am so thrilled to be collaborating with Penguin on my first ever book release. It is such an honour”.
