This techno-charged offering upscales the drops, fidgety distortion and replay value that has proved a constant in his playbook.

Flume has shared a batch of newly unearthed archive material of his own music. Available to stream now, ‘Arrived Anxious, Left Bored’ is a collection of ten tracks from the last ten years of his career.
The release follows another such project from earlier in 2023, ‘Things Don’t Always Go the Way You Plan’, which was also made up of previously unreleased material from Flume’s career to date, including tracks featuring Injury Reserve and Panda Bear.
All of the tracks on ‘Arrived Anxious, Left Bored’ were recorded since the Australian producer released his debut self-titled album in 2012. One of the tracks, ‘All There 1.9 [2019 Export Wav]’, is the first track where Flume recorded his own vocals on a track.
Speaking about the new surprise release, Flume has said, “This and the first ‘Things Don’t…’ drop are a bunch of songs that I always loved that didn’t fit on a previous record. It’s cathartic, it feels really nice to clean the slate and make way for what’s next.”
Flume recently won the APRA Song of the Year Award for ‘Say Nothing’, and he is a four-time Grammy nominee, including a win for Best Dance/Electronic Album for his second album ‘Skin’.
