Fontaines DC announce debut album ‘Dogrel’
The record - out in April via Partisan - is being previewed by a video for opening track ‘Big’.
Fontaines DC have announced details of their long-awaited debut album!
‘Dogrel’ will come out on 12th April via Partisan Records, and is being previewed by a single for first track ‘Big’. It follows the announcement of a huge UK tour set for November, including a London show at the Forum.
‘Big’, a long-time live favourite, also comes with its own video, which sees a child strutting his way down a Dublin street, shouting along to the lyrics. It follows recent single ‘Too Real’, which we described in our review as “hiding nothing and demanding openness and honesty. The realness the band preach is one that’s forging a cast-iron connection.”
Speaking about the video, the band say: “We felt that great ambition was a sickness, and we got Grian’s 11 year next-door neighbour to say it to you all because he’s got the presence of a hundred frontmen.”
Fontaines DC are touring consistently throughout 2019, with dates all across the globe, including a US tour in support of IDLES.
