Fontaines DC riding high in Official Chart Update
‘Dogrel’ is sitting pretty at #4.
Fontaines DC are at Number 4 in the midweek UK album chart with debut ‘Dogrel’.
The band are one place ahead of Actual Spice Girl Emma Bunton who released ‘My Happy Place’ last week, and two below The Chemical Brothers’ ‘No Geography’.
BTS are inevitably heading to the top spot with ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’, which is 10,000 combined chart sales ahead of anyone else.
A few Record Store Day re-releases have impacted the chart: David Bowie’s ‘Pin Ups’ is at 16, The Mighty Boosh’s ‘Complete Radio Series’ is at 40, and Weezer’s ‘Teal’ album is at 44.
