Break in schedule
Foo Fighters cancel dates following Dave Grohl’s broken leg
Group are still on course to headline Glastonbury 2015.
Foo Fighters have been forced to cancel a couple of tour dates, after frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg falling off stage in Sweden.
The frontman was able to heroically finish that Gothenburg show, but some much-needed rest has led to Foos pulling out of two shows. They’ll no longer be headlining Netherlands’ Pinkpop Festival (taking place tonight), and they won’t be playing a 16th June show in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Grohl and co. are still on course to headline Glastonbury 2015 - topping a one-two Pyramid Stage bill of broken bits (second-from-top Florence Welch damaged her foot while at this year’s Coachella). Their next date is now an appearance at London’s Wembley Stadium, 19th June.
Watch some newly-captured footage of Grohl playing ‘All My Life’ in a cast, at the Gothenburg show.
