Foo Fighters have launched a countdown to something

After a summer defined by Dave Grohl’s broken leg (did you hear Dave Grohl broke his leg by the way?), Foo Fighters have updated their website to feature a mysterious countdown.

The site, viewable here, has the word “lobby” in the URL, has a picture in the background appears to be some sort of ornate lobby, and is backed by background noise that sounds like a hotel lobby. So it’s probably something to do with a lobby?

Fans are speculating that the countdown, which ends on November 23rd, will be a build-up to anything from a new series of Foos’ Sonic Highways TV series, to the date that Dave’s getting his leg cast off (did you hear about Dave Grohl’s broken leg? Crazy) so it’s fair to say no one really knows.

Still, hopefully Dave’s leg (it broke, ‘ICYMI’) is feeling a bit better.
