Foo Fighters hint at live return this week
North American tour is set to kick off in Washington DC this Saturday.
Foo Fighters have dropped a hint that their North American tour - starting this week - will go ahead as planned.
The group’s return to the States was thought to be in doubt, following frontman Dave Grohl’s broken leg, suffered at a Sweden show. European dates, including a headline slot at Glastonbury, were subsequently cancelled.
However it looks like Foos will return to the stage sooner than expected. The band posted news on Twitter, stating: “Can’t f***ing wait for the 4th!!! See you at home, DC.”
Their tour is set to begin in Washington DC on 4th July. See the tweet below.
Foo Fighters are the current favourites to headline Glastonbury 2016, with bookies giving low odds alongside Muse, Coldplay and Blur.
