Foo Fighters perform ‘In The Clear’ on Ellen
The band performed the ‘Sonic Highways’ cut for the first time on the US daytime television show.
Foo Fighters are well and truly used to playing on TV shows by now - after all, they launched their new album with a staggering five performances on Late Night with David Letterman - so what better place to air a new track live than on the ol’ telly box?
Appearing on US daytime television show Ellen yesterday (19th November), the five-piece gave ‘In The Clear’ its first TV outing before frontman Dave Grohl sat down with host Ellen DeGeneres for a bit of a chat.
You can have a watch of their performance of the ‘Sonic Highways’ cut - which features a very happy-looking Pat Smear - here.
In other news, the band’s new album ‘Sonic Highways’ is out now, and they’re already planning to return to the UK next year to celebrate its release.
The band will play five massive shows - with support coming from Iggy Pop and Royal Blood - next May and June, with the dates looking like this:
MAY
25 Sunderland, Stadium of Light
27 Manchester, Emirates Old Trafford
JUNE
