Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins Unveils New Project, The Birds Of Satan

Not content with their big plans for the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Wasting Light’, Foo Fighters’ drummer Taylor Hawkins has revealed he’s been a little busy elsewhere too.

Hawkins has seemingly taken some time out of his busy schedule to work on a brand new project. The Birds Of Satan, a collaboration between himself and long term friends Willy Hodgen and Mick Murphy, will be making their first mark on the world when the trio release their self-titled debut album this April. The seven-track record, which sees Hawkins taking on the role of vocals (as well as drums, piano, guitars and keyboards, phew!) also happens to feature a few of their notable friends including Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Drew Hester and Rami Jaffee.

‘The Birds of Satan’ will be released through Shanabelle Records on 14th April, and the tracklisting is as follows. Below, you can check out a trailer for the record, and if you pre-order it now, you’ll get a first taste in the form of ‘Thanks For The Line’.

1. The Ballad of the Birds of Satan
2. Thanks for the Line
3. Pieces Of The Puzzle
4. Raspberries
5. Nothing at All
6. Wait Til Tomorrow
7. Too Far Gone to See
