Footage of new Grimes song ‘Go’ appears online
The track, originally written for Rihanna, sounds massive.
Footage of ‘Go’, the track Grimes originally wrote for Rihanna, has appeared online.
Debuted as part of Clare Boucher’s set at Governors Ball on Friday alongside two other new tracks ‘David’ and ‘Sleepwalking’, it sounds suitably huge. You can check it out below.
‘Go’ was co-written alongside LA producer Blood Diamonds. “Its kinda different from regular grimes,” said Boucher - who’s expected to release her new album this year - in a tweet.
Grimes writing for Rihanna shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Both are signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation management company.
A new album - the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Visions’ - is expected to come out this September. She’s recently been posting in-the-studio photos on Instagram - the album has a provisional release date of 9th September.
