Four Tet announces new album ‘New Energy’
The album, containing a number of recent singles, comes out at the end of the month.
Across this year, Four Tet has been sprinkling new music out onto the internet every now and then.
Most recently, we had ‘SW9 9SL’ - that’s the postcode of Brixton Academy, fact fans, and the track was preceded by ‘Planet’ and the aptly-named ‘Two Thousand And Seventeen’.
All three of these tracks are set to appear on a new album from Kieran Hebden, subtly announced on his Twitter account this afternoon.
The album will be called ‘New Energy’, feature fourteen tracks, and come out on 29th September. That’s THIS MONTH! We just knew 2017 would have a few more surprises in store.
Check out the tracklisting (and pretty brilliant album announcement method) for ‘New Energy’ and listen to ‘SW9 9SL’ below.
