Francis Of Delirium introduces new album 'Run, Run Pure Beauty' with lead single 'It's A Beautiful Life' • News • DIY Magazine

Francis Of Delirium is back, having just announced that her sophomore album ‘Run, Run Pure Beauty’ will be arriving on 29th May via Dalliance Recordings.

The follow up to her cult 2024 debut outing ‘Lighthouse’, this new record promises to see Francis Of Delirium - aka Jana Bahrich - reach for light amidst the darkness, standing as a testament to resilience and hope.

Leading the charge for this new chapter is lead single ‘It’s A Beautiful Life’ - a track which, true to its name, is restless, rough-edged, and undeniably life-affirming. Describing the snatched observations which inspired its lyrics, Jana has recalled “a coffee I had with a pianist who was about to play a Philip Glass piece at the Philharmonie in Berlin; watching a couple break up on a New York City park bench; walking past a choir rehearsing in a basement.”

Continuing, she explains that the song is “examining a loneliness that feels ingrained into daily life […] not denying pain, but trying to find the beauty alongside it.”
