Frank Ocean’s new album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ is reportedly out this Friday
It’s reportedly set for a two week Apple Music exclusive deal, with an accompanying magazine distributed through Apple stores.
Yesterday was a weird one, huh? Thousands of people all watching a man cut wood for hours on end (us included), waiting for news of a new Frank Ocean album to emerge. Finally, though, it appears we’ve got what we were after.
The New York Times report that ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, that hugely anticipated new Frank album, is set for release this Friday (5th August). That’s not July mate. Honestly. It’s not hard.
According to “a person with knowledge of the release plans” (could be fibbing, let’s be honest), it’ll be an Apple Music exclusive for two weeks, before hitting other platforms. In addition, there’s a big budget video release planned, and that ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ magazine will be distributed exclusively in Apple stores.
Representatives from Frank’s label Def Jam have declined to comment, obviously. Catch up with the story of ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ - it might finally be around the corner.
