Franz Ferdinand share a new version of ‘Glimpse of Love’
The band said “we took the original and added that little bit more Kick and Punch”.
A few weeks back, Franz Ferdinand released their latest album ‘Always Ascending’, crowning a glorious new phase for the band with a headline show in Brixton.
Now they’ve shared a new version of one of the album’s tracks, ‘Glimpse of Love’. As reported by Stereoboard, the band returned to the studio to add new elements from their live arrangements to the track before asking Serban Ghenea – known for working with the likes of Lorde – to mix it.
On Facebook, the band said: “We took the original and added that little bit more Kick and Punch. We’re really proud of this one and hope you enjoy it too”.
The band are also set to play a couple of shows in the UK in September, at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse and London’s Roundhouse. Tickets are on sale now.
