Frightened Rabbit’s Scott Hutchison confirms band aren’t breaking up
Frontman apologises for a Twitter “meltdown” that took place last weekend.

Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison has addressed a Twitter “meltdown” that took place last weekend, confirming that the band aren’t breaking up.
As reports the Herald Scotland, since-deleted tweets called the band a “complete farce”, adding, “I’d urge you to forget about the band.” At the time, he wrote: “Goodbye to Frightened Rabbit. All it has ever been is me boring people with lies and making creative currency out of other people’s hurt.”
Scott has since posted a lengthy apology on Twitter and Facebook, explaining his initial comments and assuring fans that Frightened Rabbit were still going strong. For health reasons however, they have cancelled appearances at festivals Haldern and Rock Am See.
“I’m sorry if I caused any alarm. If you have ever been through a low-point in life I’m certain you’ll understand,” he said.
