New clip follows the world premiere of the film at Cannes Film Festival last week.
The first full-length trailer for the upcoming Amy Winehouse documentary ‘Amy’ has been shared online.
Directed by Asif Kapadia, who helmed ‘Senna’, the documentary about Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna, ‘Amy’ was premiered at Cannes Film Festival last week.
The official clips shows footage of the late singer throughout her career, ending with Amy Winehouse stating that she is “not a girl trying to be a star, just a girl that sings.” ‘Amy’ is scheduled for release in UK cinemas on 3rd July.
Prior to the first screening at Cannes, Mitch Winehouse recently criticised the documentary and plans to take legal action against the directors, stating he “felt sick” when he watched the film for the first time. “Amy would have been furious. This is not what she would have wanted,” he is quoted as saying.
