Gaggle will release a special run of vinyl for Record Store Day on 18th April.
It’s called ‘The Brilliant and the Dark’, and it’ll be released through Transgressive as a limited-to-300-copies 12’.
The release documents a live performance at the ICA on 2nd December 2010, in which the band were invited by artists Eileen Simpson and Ben White to re-interpret a 1969 cantata for women’s voices.
The band are also making use of a copyleft license, which will allow future artists to sample the B-side for their own work.
