Premiere: Gaggle Reveal New Video For ‘Power Of Money’

Taken from the collective’s debut album ‘From The Mouth Of The Cave’, DIY has the premiere of ‘Power Of Money’.

Gaggle have just made a brand new video, and DIY has the very first look at it.

Taken from the collective’s debut album ‘From The Mouth Of The Cave’, here’s the visual clip accompanying ‘Power Of Money’.

And, just because we’re nosey, we asked Deborah Coughlin to give us a little insight into the video itself. Curious? Here goes…

‘Money is bad and we want you to know it. If we could we would destroy it. The amazingly talented Aaron Shrimpton made this video. We started talking on Twitter because we’d just toured with his long time collaborator Scroobious Pip. We wanted to do a dance routine somewhere between TLC and Pina Bausch. Lou OConnor who is in Gaggle did the choreography. Originally we wanted to kill an actual pig mid way through this video. This idea was deemed cruel and unneccessary so we settled on having the most brilliant and talented performer Ross help us, by being our giant naked man piggy bank. We eat him. There are moments in life I will never forget, one is Ross (after a bit of dutch courage) on all fours in his pants in the Waterloo Tunnels, hand stretched out to regimented and cold gaggles, straining the words ‘Ladies, lovely ladies’ - just before the girls pounced on him.

Gaggle released their debut album ‘From The Mouth Of The Cave’ earlier this year through Transgressive.
