Gaz Coombes unveils new ‘Detroit’ video, announces tour dates
Following on from the release of his new album ‘Matador’, Coombes will head on the road this May.
Back at the end of last month, Gaz Coombes released his second solo album ‘Matador’. Now, he’s back with plans to release a new single from it, and has unveiled a video to accompany the track.
Directed by Peter Franklyn Banks for Greatcoat Films, Coombes’ clip for ‘Detroit’ follows the protagonist as he runs through several different landscapes, from mountainous highroads to fluorescent-lit streets.
“It’s a beautifully shot video by Peter Franklyn Banks,” Gaz has said of the video, which you can watch below. “I rather enjoyed the concept of having a surreal cameo in my own video… enjoy, folks!”
‘Detroit’ earns an official release on 6th April. Coombes has also set up an array of headline shows in the near future, which run alongside his upcoming festival appearances. Check out his newly-announced tour dates - which see him head out on the road this April and May - below.
