Gengahr share new track ‘Atlas Please’, produced by Jack Steadman
The band’s new material follows on from ‘Where Wildness Grows’.
Gengahr have shared a brand new track, as produced by Jack Steadman, of Bombay Bicycle Club and Mr Jukes.
Their new song, titled ‘Atlas Please’, is a standalone single that follows on from the band’s second album ‘Where Wildness Grows’, which was released earlier this year.
Speaking of the track, the band’s Felix Bushe has said: “‘Atlas Please’ is us considering that our lasting memories are the ones shared in good company - although, at times it can feel as though the weight of the world is resting on your shoulders. Talking to friends and considering our own personal experiences, we’re mindful that we often find it easier to suffer in silence than to open up - so being able to identify when someone you care about is hurting and to make the time to help them is an incredibly important and powerful thing to do. We hope you all enjoy the song, and look forward to seeing you soon.”
The band are also set to make two live appearances over the next few days - they’ll be supporting Ezra Furman at Brixton Academy this evening, before appearing at Festival No 6 this weekend.
