Gently Tender offer up new EP cut ‘Wild In The Uplands’
Tickets for the group’s special London headline next month are on sale now.

Having recently announced their return with news of a new EP, ‘This Was Once Fields’ (out on 22nd May via TODO Records), South London six-piece Gently Tender have now dropped its second single, ‘Wild In The Uplands’.
Inspired by the sense of freedom that comes from trading bustling city life for the expanse and fresh air of nature, the track has also arrived accompanied by a playful video that sees a pair of punk rockers revel in the joys of the countryside - check it out down below.
Discussing ‘Wild In The Uplands’, the band - the post-Palma Violets project of Sam Fryer, Pete Mayhew and Will Doyle - have said: “It’s about not having respect for fences and private land, roaming free and getting into mischief. Out of all the illegal activities a person can partake in, trespassing is one of the most exhilarating!”
To celebrate the arrival of their forthcoming EP, Gently Tender have scheduled a hometown headline show at London’s ICA on 27th May (tickets are on sale now), before which they’ll also make an appearance in Brighton at The Great Escape.
