Get Inuit get all Groundhog Day in their new ‘Pro Procrastinator’ video
Kent indie-punks shake off monotony with their new clip, premiering on DIY.
With all the long nights and crappy weather, winter can feel arduous. Thankfully, there’s bands like Get Inuit to inject a ray of sunlight into proceedings.
Their new ‘Pro Procrastinator’ video perfectly captures that feeling of frozen frustration. A Groundhog Day-esque ode to an inescapable routine filmed in the tiny seaside town of Margate, it’s a blurred depiction of modern-day monotony. In stark contrast, the track is anything but - choppy, serrated guitars pair up with frontman Jamie Glass’ super-sharp vocal, cutting through the smog with ease. “I’m wasting my life,” Glass observes, but on this evidence he’s doing quite alright.
‘Pro Procrastinator’ is taken from the band’s latest EP, ‘Luge Lessons’, out now on Alcopop! Records. Following a London show tomorrow night, Get Inuit are set to hop in the van for their first full headline tour in January and February - check out their full run of dates below.
