Girl Band share video for ‘Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage?”
Gruesome, strobe-filled NSFW video is from their new EP.
Girl Band have shared a video for ‘Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage?’, the latest single taken from their upcoming EP ‘The Early Years’. Their debut release for Rough Trade Records is out 21st April.
The Irish group’s cover of Blawan has been visually reproduced into a grim narrative starring a mortician at work. Directed by Bob Gallagher, the mortician conducts an autopsy of a male body with the tape playing in the background. He strips the body of jewellery and removes the organs from the corpse before being possessed by the track, dancing in the room with the now revived body.
Girl Band will play DIY’s all-ages show on Saturday 21st February alongside The Magic Gang, and Hooton Tennis Club, as part of Roundhouse Rising 2015. Tickets are sold out but we’ll be livestreaming the gig on DIY. Under 14s need to be accompanied by an adult.
