Girlpool preview debut album with ‘Cherry Picking’

Distorted cut is taken from ‘Before the World Was Big’.

Girlpool are sharing a new track from their forthcoming debut album.

Ahead of ‘Before the World Was Big’’s 1st June release on Wichita, the duo are streaming ‘Cherry Picking’. A neat bringing together of bold, chanted harmonies and dissonant guitar parts that scatter off and break out of tune, it’s another minimal but character-crammed taste of the LP.

Girlpool will play a sold out show at London’s Dalston Roof Gardens on 7th June, following by a show at the capital’s Rough Trade East (9th June) and a support slot for Waxahatchee’s Electic Ballroom date (10th June).

They return in September for the following shows:

SEPTEMBER
04 Bristol, Exchange
06 End of the Road Festival
08 Manchester, Deaf Institute
09 Glasgow, Broadcast
10 Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
11 Birmingham, Hare and Hounds
12 Bestival
14 Brighton, The Hope
15 London, Scala
