Glass Animals share studio version of Kanye West ‘Love Lockdown’ cover
Oxford band have nailed down a sweet cover, following debut ‘ZABA’.
As if the original wasn’t already infectious enough, Glass Animals have increased the quirkiness to ten on their cover of Kanye West’s ‘Love Lockdown’.
Having recently debuted the cover at Glastonbury, ‘Love Lockdown’ is a b-side on their forthcoming Pools EP. The Oxford-based four-piece reinterpret the track with the same effortlessly cool, downtempo indie rock that’s made them such an exciting band in the first place - the slinky rhythm section is taut and scrumptious, while frontman Dave Bayley’s vocals still drip with that irresistible kooky-R&B vibe. Kanye Wooze anyone?
