Glass Animals stay fresh-faced with ‘Youth’ single
The second reveal from new album ‘How To Be A Human Being’ fuses the upbeat and the tragic.

Chasing down radio smash single ‘Life Itself’, Glass Animals have offered up another wonky pop cut from new album ‘How To Be A Human Being’.
Titled ‘Youth’, it picks up where ‘Life Itself’ left off, all tropical rhythms stapled to piercing, cascading synth-work. Visually, it’s a straight follow-up from that last single’s video too, the protagonist lost in the desert following ‘Life Itself”s roaring getaway.
It’s little surprise it’s all wrapped up together, really - ‘How To Be A Human Being”s artwork threads the whole thing together, each character from the record cover starring in both the videos and the album’s lyrical content. It’s all very clever.
Catch up with our trip to Glass Animals’ studio as they recorded ‘How To Be A Human Being’ - it’s out on August 26th via Caroline / Wolf Tone.
