Glastonbury Festival could be forced to move homes, says Michael Eavis
Founder says he may have to find a “bigger site”.

Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis has claimed that the festival could be forced to move to a new location.
Speaking to Sky News, the co-organiser discussed how land ownership issues could result in a move, in the distant future.
“I’m always worried about the future, about the land not being available because I only own the middle bit,” he said. “Where the Pyramid is and all the land around it is owned by other people, so that could be a problem long-term. I may have to find a site that’s bigger and is all under the control of one person. That’s the ideal situation, so that might happen in the long-term.”
This year’s Glastonbury runs from 24th-28th June, with Florence + The Machine, Kanye West and The Who headlining. Florence was announced as a last-minute replacement for Foo Fighters, who pulled out of the festival after Dave Grohl suffered a broken leg.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
