Glastonbury Pyramid Stage to turn into ‘Tin Stage’ for Arcade Fire?

There’s been a slight, interesting change to the Glastonbury line-up.

Arcade Fire - previously billed for the Pyramid Stage as Friday night headliners - have been announced to play the ‘Tin Stage’ at the already confirmed time of 10pm.

Presumably, this means the Pyramid Stage will become “reflektive”, turning into some kind of giant shiny metallic structure. That’s the most logical guess - the other possibility is that something even bigger than the Pyramid Stage is being set up specifically for Arcade Fire’s performance.

The band’s world tour so far encompasses giant dancefloors raised in the middle of an arena and enough confetti to welcome in an environmental warning.

Note: The ‘Tin’ Stage is actually just called ‘Tin’.

UPDATE: The Glasto line-up page has since gone back to normal, but we managed to take a screengrab. Was it just a glitch or a teaser for something special?
