Festivals Glastonbury reveals more names for 2020 festival, still planning to go ahead

It’s “after much consideration given the current circumstances, and with the best of intentions.”
In a week that’s seen the cancellation of SXSW and the postponement of Coachella until October due to the coronavirus outbreak, Glastonbury is, according to a statement from Emily Eavis, still planning to go ahead.
“As things stand we are still working hard to deliver our 50th anniversary Festival in June,” she wrote, alongside an announcement of names joining headliners Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney in Somerset this June.
Kendrick Lamar joins as headliner, with Dua Lipa, Glass Animals, Thom Yorke’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes and Beabadoobee among the acts confirmed today.
The festival will announce its full lineup in May.
