Grimes gives update on new music

Let’s be honest, ever since 2015’s uber-smash ‘Art Angels’, we’ve all been waiting (kinda) patiently for new music from Grimes.

Claire Boucher has now given a short update on the progress of album five. Predictably, she’s “trying to make something you’ve never heard before”.

Taking to Instagram, the singer/producer says: “kno i’ve been quiet lately - in the studio every day trying to legit make something you’ve never heard before.”

“unexplored sonic landscapes. i need another month or 2 of pure unadulterated creativity at which point i will begin finishing tracks. won’t let u down”
