Grimes plays three songs in BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale session
Hear ‘Flesh Without Blood’, ‘REALiTi’ and a cover of ‘Ave Maria’.
Last night (19th April), Grimes visited BBC Radio 1’s Maida Vale studio for a session.
As well as showcasing ‘Flesh Without Blood’ and ‘REALiTi’ from last year’s ‘Art Angels’ album, she also covered Schubert’s ‘Ave Maria’.
The latter is a staple of her live set, which recently landed at Brixton Academy. This summer sees Grimes playing Latitude, Hangout Music Festival, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Open’er and loads more festivals.
Speaking to Annie Mac, she also says two new videos are on the way. Listen to the whole thing below.
Grimes will play Open’er (29th June - 2nd July), Bilbao BBK Live (7th-9th July), Latitude (14th-17th July), Positivus (15th-17th July).
