On air Grimes has a new song! Hit play on ‘Medieval Warfare’
It’s taken from the all-star soundtrack for DC Comics film Suicide Squad.
There’s a massive new Grimes song in the world! The former DIY cover star has shared new track ‘Medieval Warfare,’ which is part of the all-star soundtrack for upcoming DC Comic flick Suicide Squad.
It’s her first new material since her all-kinds-of-incredible album ‘Art Angels’, and sees squalling guitar riffs colliding with gigantic trap-influenced basslines, and a restrainted, synthetic, ‘Visions’-nodding vocal.
The track aired this evening on Beats 1 as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record. Suicide Squad hits cinemas on Friday (August 5th). Mark Ronson, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, Action Bronson, Lil Wayne and a Skrillex and Rick Ross collaboration also feature on the soundtrack.
