Grizzly Bear’s Chris Bear remixes ‘Lady M’ by Blonde Redhead

Originally taken from last year’s ‘Barragán’ LP, Blonde Redhead’s already gorgeous ‘Lady M’ track just picked up a remix from Chris Bear of Grizzly Bear.

In comparison to an initial edit, Chris’ remix goes several steps further in the serenity stakes, Kazu Makino’s vocals reaching new depths, bathing in a gentle glow. Speaking about the remix, Chris Bear said: “I loved the melody and percussive world that was happening and I thought that stripping it down to create an icy landscape would be an interesting direction.”

Simone Pace from Blonde Redhead added: “His sensitivity and musicality is what we were looking and hoping for on this remix.”
