Blonde Redhead are back with latest single ‘Before’

Following recent singles, ‘Melody Experiment’ and ‘Snowman’, Blonde Redhead have shared another track, ‘Before’, which will appear on their forthcoming album ‘Sit Down For Dinner’ (out on 29th September via section1).

Of ‘Before’, Blond Redhead’s vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Kazu Makino has said: “[It] was written with the notion of reincarnation in mind, narrated from the perspective of a kind who seems to know it all. Some children seem quite knowing as if they remember their past lives… or at least that’s the impression I get. The song is a sort of celebration of that kind of quality in a young person.”

The band have also announced a rescheduled date for their London ‘Underplay’ show, which had to be postponed last month due to illness. They will now play The Lower Third on 22nd September - just ahead of the album’s release - and all tickets for the original date remain valid.
