Neu Pick
New London outfit Guilt start strong on ‘Everblue’
The band’s brilliant first step is today’s Neu Pick.

Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from Guilt.
The members of brand new London outfit Guilt didn’t just want to start making music together - they had to. After a 2015 full of twists and turns for all of the band, they needed to find an outlet, and resultantly crash into life on debut track ‘Everblue’.
The first single is a creeping, vital cut, with sincerity in its every fibre. Amongst the anguish and grit, a glorious, near-euphoric chorus still manages to burst out.
All the proceeds from the sale of ‘Everblue’, which can be downloaded for £1 here, will go to mental health charity CALM. The band explain: “We were lucky enough to have each other in this process but some people aren’t and that’s why the work CALM does is so important. this band was always meant to mean more so anything that can be done to benefit this charity, we’re happy to help.”

Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
