Hayley Williams releases ‘Petals For Armor I’
She’s sharing the first five tracks from her debut solo album!
“part 1 of my album is out today. i thought it best to start the journey this way. 5 songs, some real heavy themes… let’s get this carthasis today, people.”
Having announced that her debut solo album ‘Petals For Armor’ will be coming out on 8th May, it seems Hayley Williams couldn’t wait to share more of the magic she’s been creating, releasing ‘Petals For Armor I’. Surprise!
“There are a lot of themes covered on the album as a whole and I thought it best to separate some of these themes so that there can be time for everyone to digest some of the songs before we move along to others,” Hayley explains. “It’s a way to include people on the journey in the same way that I experienced it.”
With previous releases ‘Simmer’ and ‘Leave It Alone’ making an appearance, there’s also beat-driven newbie ‘Cinammon’, which comes with an innuendo-and-dance-filled accompanying video (the best kind, eh?), directed by Warren Fu, and other new’uns ‘Creepin” and ‘Sudden Desire’.
Further showing her exciting new chapter, watch her bust some moves in the video below, and get even more pumped for the full LP dropping in May!
