Hear Arcade Fire’s track ‘Baby Mine’ from the Dumbo soundtrack

The band’s cover gets taken from the soundtrack of Tim Burton’s forthcoming remake of the film.

Arcade Fire have released their new track, as taken from the soundtrack to Tim Burton’s soon-to-be-released Dumbo.

The new version of the film is in cinemas on 29th March, and the band have now showcased ‘Baby Mine’ from the soundtrack.

The song originally appeared in the 1941 animated version of the film and the band’s cover also features musical contributions from Win Butler’s mother and his and Régine Chassagne’s son.

“My mom plays the harp on the track, my brother the theremin, my wife sings and plays drums, and our son even plays the triangle, as well as the rest of our ‘family’ in Arcade Fire,” Win Butler has said in a statement. “I will forever relate to the song thinking about the people I hold so dear that are ‘so precious to me.’ Listen for the cameo of my grandpa Alvino’s famous Sonovox at the end.”
