Heavy Lungs share new single ‘Dancing Man

The band have also just signed with Alcopop! Records.

Heavy Lungs have unveiled their newest single, ‘Dancing Man’, which is out now. Watch the video, directed by Clump Collective, below.

The single arrives alongside news that the Bristol band have signed with Alcopop! Records.

Speaking about ‘Dancing Man’, Heavy Lungs vocalist Danny Nedelko has said, “‘Dancing Man’ came about from a conversation that left me and George crying on the floor with laughter at rehearsal. The end result is an abstract tale about a sinister character. Nice to see another in-joke make it through. Sadly not all of them do. But we will save that for the inevitable next EP.”

The band have released three EPs to date: ‘Abstract Thoughts’ in 2018, and ‘Straight to CD’ and ‘Measure’, both in 2019. Their Ukrainian-born lead singer was also the titular subject of the IDLES track ‘Danny Nedelko’.

Heavy Lungs have also been announced as appearing at Oxford’s Truck Festival on 21st July, with more live dates set to be announced soon.
