Hercules & Love Affair Update On Tour Cancellation

The band cancelled dates because Andy lost feeling in his left arm.

Hercules & Love Affair have updated fans on the status of the recent illness that caused them to cancel their UK tour.

Posting online, Andy has again apologised explaining: ‘To ALL the fans in regional UK, and IRELAND AND SCOTLAND: I am SO sorry to have had to cancel the shows. WE SO WANTED TO COME!

The details are a little unimportant, but feeling HAS GONE SIGNIFICANTLY in my left arm, and there is a shoulder impingment/spinal issue that has to be looked at.

During my recovery I will BE WRITING AND PRODUCING more things for MR.INTL, JUST AS I DID ‘CREATURE’, ‘WHAT YOU NEED’, AND ‘AND I’M SO IN LOVE WITH YOU’.

STAY TUNED FOR NEW STUFF ON THE LABEL AND maybe… just maybe a Hercules EP with NEW FACES AND SURPRISES SOON…’

Sounds nasty, eh.

Tickets purchased will be valid for the rescheduled dates, which the band hope to announce very soon.

The most recent single to be taken from their new album ‘Blue Songs’ is ‘Painted Eyes’, due out on 18th April, via Moshi Moshi / Co-operative Music. It’ll come backed by the band’s remix of ‘Shelter’ by The XX, with vocals from Kim Ann Foxman.
