Holly Humberstone shares new video for ‘Room Service’
The singer recently announced details of her debut album, ‘Paint My Bedroom Black’.
Following on from the recent announce of her debut album ‘Paint My Bedroom Black’, Holly Humberstone has shared her new video for ‘Room Service’.
Having already made such a name for herself over the past few years, it’s hard to believe that this album - out on 13th October - will be her first. Having had a huge 2022 being named the BRITs Rising Star, performing at Coachella Festival, and headlining Brixton’s O2 Academy, Holly spent the first portion of this year back in the studio.
The result is ‘Paint My Bedroom Black’, which she describes as “an exploration of the two sides of myself that coexist. One side, the introvert who wants to board the windows up and shut the world out, writing about wanting to escape my surroundings and the confusion of life on the road last year. The other side of me, the extrovert, writing about a budding relationship, deep connections and love”.
To coincide with the announcement, Holly dropped two singles from the record: ‘Antichrist’ and ‘Room Service’. The former explores the pain and guilt of letting down those you care about, while the latter is a homage to the unremarkable, nothing-y moments that make up the best friendships.
Watch the official videos for both ‘Antichrist’ and the newly-released ‘Room Service’ below.
