Iceage’s Elias Bender Rønnenfelt announces Marching Church solo album, ‘This World Is Not Enough’

Frontman is riding solo for a release due out this March.

Iceage frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt has announced plans to release his first solo album, ‘This World Is Not Enough’.

Backing up his band’s ‘Plowing Into the Field of Love’ from last year, this Marching Church release is due out 30th March via Posh Isolation (31st March in North America via Sacred Bones).

According to Rønnenfelt, the album is “eight songs of nocturnal longing, preposterous self-obsession and cockeyed etiquette”.

Lead track ‘Hungry for Love’ is streaming now - it blends Danish spoken word sections with more familiar, lustful bursts of energy, echoed with heavy intakes of breath (Rønnenfelt’s speciality, if the last Iceage album is anything to go on).

Listen to ‘Hungry for Love’ below. Pre-order the album on iTunes.

Tracklist:

1 Living in Doubt
2 King of Song
3 Hungry for Love
4 Your Father’s Eyes
5 Calling Out a Name
6 Every Child (Portrait of Wellman Braud)
7 Up a Hill
8 Dark End of the Street
