Interpol and Spiritualized ‘supergroup’ Soldiers of Fortune announce new album ‘Early Risers’

They’ve previewed the Stephen Malkmus-featuring record with lead single ‘Nails’.

Supergroup Soldiers of Fortune - which contains members from Interpol, Spiritualized, and Billy Corgan’s old supergroup, Zwan - have announced a new album, ‘Early Risers’. Featuring Stephen Malkmus and Cass McCombs as guests, it’s out on 6th November via Mexican Summer.

First formed in 2004 as an “anti-band,” Soldiers of Fortune comprises of: Brad Truax from Interpol, Oneida’s Barry London, Papa Crazee and Kid Millions, former Zwan man Matt Sweeney, Endless Boogie’s Jesper Eklow, and Mike Bones. Besides Malkmus and McCombs, ‘Early Risers’ will feature appearances from Clark ‘Yeremias’ Bronson, Dan Melchior, Ethan Miller, and Matt Mcauley.

They’ve also led the new album announcement with ‘Nails,’ which you can listen to below.
