Interpol sign to Partisan for new LP ‘This Mirror Weighs a Ton’
The band have marked the news by sharing two singles, the album’s title track and ‘See Out Loud’.

Interpol are back: four years on from their last record (2022’s ‘The Other Side Of Make-Believe), the band have revealed that they’ll be releasing a brand new album, ‘This Mirror Weighs A Ton’, on 28th August via their new label home of Partisan.
Produced by pop powerhouse Andrew Wyatt (ROSALÍA, Charli xcx) and mixed by indie go-to David Fridmann (Sleater-Kinney, MGMT), this latest effort sees Paul Banks and co. venture into new sonic territory, incorporating layered vocal harmonies, strings, and woodwind flourishes into their signature brand of ’00s New York scuzz.
Across 12-tracks, ‘This Mirror Weighs A Ton’ promises to take in titular themes of reflection and perception to paint a considered yet curious picture of a band who recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their seminal debut outings, ‘Turn On The Bright Lights’ and ‘Antics’.
Ushering in this next chapter are the record’s title track and accompanying single ‘See Out Loud’; listen to both of them for yourself below.
And that’s not all - Interpol are also due to hit the road at the end of the year for a sure-to-be huge co-headline tour alongside fellow indie mainstays Bloc Party. Catch both bands in arenas across Europe and the UK on the following dates:
