Interpol are back in the studio!
Looks like they’re getting started on a follow-up to ‘El Pintor’.
After a year of near complete silence, Interpol have re-entered the studio.
Taking to Twitter to share an image of a busted bass drum skin, the band’s Daniel Kessler offered up a pretty simple explanation - “Pretty good rehearsal today. Sam crushed it.”
The confirmation follows a September Beats 1 interview, in which Paul Banks confirmed that Interpol would begin their ‘El Pintor’follow-up in the autumn. See both the tweet and an excerpt from the interview below.
