Interpol showcase ‘Ancient Ways’ track from new album
Paul Banks and co. release returning gambit ‘El Pintor’ this September.
Interpol are streaming a doom, thrashing new track from their cheeky anagram of a new album, ‘El Pintor’.
This new record’s being billed as a triumphant return to form for Paul Banks and co., with recent single ‘All The Rage Back Home’ backing up that sentiment. New track ‘Ancient Ways’ is less straight-down-the-line, but that doesn’t mean it misses the gut. A melee of intense guitar work, it’s arguably the most head-in-the-sand, grizzly thing they’ve put their name to since anything on ‘Antics’.
The track’s streamable below. Check out Interpol’s forthcoming UK & Ireland dates above the player. ‘El Pintor’ is out 8th September.
