Interpol are taking ‘Turn On the Bright Lights’ on an anniversary tour
They’re plotting new music for 2018, and all.
Interpol’s 2002 album ‘Turn On the Bright Lights’ turns 15 this year, and to celebrate, the New York band are taking it out on one of those anniversary tours.
They’re playing ‘just a few’ dates from August onwards, with shows all across Europe. ‘Turn On the Bright Lights’ comes to the UK in September, with a shows at London’s Ally Pally, and in Manchester, pencilled in. Each show will see the classic album performed in full.
The band— which has a current line-up of Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler, and Sam Fogarino— are also plotting new music for 2018, and they’re currently working on their sixth album in New York. It’s due out at some point next year on Matador.
