This is outrageous
It’s here - listen to Swim Deep’s eight-minute juggernaut, ‘Fueiho Boogie’
The deepest, most WTF cut from ‘Mothers’ has arrived.
Swim Deep have created a monster with ‘Fueiho Boogie’. Spanning eight minutes, it’s the maddest thing they’ve ever put their name to. Drum ’n bass breakdowns, krautrock nods, Austin Williams chanting “we’re in the house of fun / we’re gonna run and run.” Second album ‘Mothers’ was always going to be a game-changer, but this takes the biscuit.
‘Fueiho Boogie’ links up with ‘Grand Affection’, ‘Namaste’, ‘To My Brother’ and ‘One Great Song And I Could Change The World’ in previewing the new album. Make no mistake, though - this is the weirdest, most all-affirming cut to emerge from the mad scientists’ whacked-out Brussels studio sessions. They’ve emerged a different band, one completely undaunted by the prospect of going one step further when they already look like nutcases.
