Jack White performs with Q-Tip on stage in New York
Run The Jewels opened the show with Zach De La Rocha.
Jack White performed at Madison Square Garden on Friday evening, stopping in New York to play tracks from his recent album ‘Lazaretto’. During his encore, White invited rapper Q-tip on stage to perform ‘That Black Bat Licorice’ and cover A Tribe Called Quest’s ‘Excursions’ to an 18,000 capacity crowd.
Friday’s concert was opened by Run The Jewels, who invited Rage Against The Machine frontman Zach De La Rocha on stage to perform ‘Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)’. Footage of both appearances has been uploaded online by fans.
Earlier in the week, Jack White performed in Nashville, reuniting the Raconteurs for the first time in three years. Fan footage of the performance can be found here.
