Jack White drops surprise music video for ‘Archbishop Harold Holmes’ starring John C. Reilly
The artist collaborated with the actor after Reilly told White he was a fan of the song.

Jack White has dropped a surprise new music video for ‘Archbishop Harold Holmes’, a track which featured on his latest record, 2024’s ‘No Name’. The new video stars the one and only John C. Reilly, who plays an otherworldly, electrically charged religious figure.
This isn’t Reilly’s first dip into the musical world either; he’s just off the back of releasing his debut record ‘What’s Not To Love?’ via his alter ego Mister Romantic.
The pair - who are long-time friends - decided to make the video after Reilly confessed to Jack how he’d love to play the character who voices the song. White was immediately keen and handed over the creative control to Reilly and director Gilbert Trejo, who were tasked to surprise him with the result.
The outcome is a commanding and disturbingly frantic Reilly standing at the front of a church in LA, preaching with blue electronic surges coming out of the altar and his hands. The video also includes appearances from the likes of Sami Perez of Cherry Glazer; model/face of YSL Beauty and frontwoman of the Paranoyds, Staz Lindes; Misha Lindes of Sadgirl; and Starcrawler’s Arrow de Wilde.
